Administration of the union territory of Lakshadweep, Directorate of Education published the official F.No. 6/3/2014-Edn/est on 25 April 2014 for the recruitment
of teacher on contract basis. There are total no of vacancies 108 for various subjects. Department of Education invited application from the eligible qualified local candidates for contract engagement for conducting classes for the children studying in class 9 , 10 , 11 and class 12th of CBSE board of kerala board stream . selected candidates will be appointed in fixed salary of rs 21000 per month for the academic session 2014-15 .

Eligibility criteria: Education qualification: B.tech / becherlof enginer in CS / CE /IT with at least 50% marks or PG in Mathematics/ Physics for Computer Applications and minimum 45% marks with B.Ed qualification for remaining.
