Recently Department of Posts DOP / Ministry of communication and Information technology MCIT / government of India published the official notification F. No. A-34012/10/2014-DE dated 21 February 2014 for the recruitment of various category of the posts .this is one the bumper vacancy to all Postal region including all states. notification is published region wise for the recruitment of Postal Assistant PA / Sorting assistant SA / Postal Assistant saving Bank control organization SB CO , Postal assistant Foreign post organization PA FPO, postal assistant Returned letter RLO , postal assistant Mail motor service PA MMS , and postal assistant Circle and regional office PA CARO. Application form is invited from the eligible candidates in all circle and regional office 2013-14 including all 22 postal circle in the country .
After completing the selection procedure these PA SA of various category will be appointed in Scale of Pay:- Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade pay of Rs. 2400 + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.

Eligibility criteria for PA SA vacancies are as are follows
Age Limit : Minimum age 18 year and maximum age 27 for general category candidates . 5 year relaxation will be permissible to SC /ST , 3 year to OBC , 10 /15/ 13 for PH UR / PH SC ST / PH OBC successively.
Education Qualification: Intermediate pass / Class 12th / 10+2 stander
Candidates posts have studied in local language of the state or UT of the concerned postal circle or Hindi as compulsory subject at least in High school level.
Application Form fee: rs 100 for all category of the candidates as a registration fee and rs 400 for Examination fee for General and OBC candidates. there are no exam fee for SC /ST/ PWD and women candidates.
