Uttar pradesh Public Service commission conducted a State level common written exam for the recruitment of combined State Upper Subordinate service Vacancies 2013. Preliminary examination for UP PCS 2015 was already conducted on 15 march 2015 at various examination center now its expected tat results of UP PCS may be announced at any time at the end of this months. so guys be ready for the preparation of UP PCS main exam 2015 . .  New Exam Date of Sammilit rajya pravar Adhinasth pariksha 2015 announced but its expected that revised date will be published with PCS Pre Results. Well when ever results of pre exam will be published Mexam.IN will immediately inform you here. Till then concentrate on Mains Examination 2015. UPPSC mains Exam Question paper pattern and Syllabus as are follows

UPPSC Mains Exam Question paper pattern and Syllabus
The written exam will comprise 4 compulsory question paper and option paper. Candidates are required to select any two subject as a option subject and each optional subjects will comprise two Question paper. Marks distribution detail for compulsory subjects will be as are follows +
(A) COMPULSORY SUBJECTS
1. General Hindi 150 marks   , 3 hour
2. Essay 150 marks  , 3 hour
3. General Studies (i-Paper) 200 marks Objective Type , 2hour Time , 150 questions
4. General Studies (ii-Paper) 200 marks Objective Type , 2hour Time , 150 questions

GS General Study Paper 1 and Paper 2 both question paper will be objective type of nature and each question paper will comprise 150 question and total 2 hours will be given for attempting the question paper.

Question paper Timing : paper 2 : 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
And 9:30 to 12:30 Noon and 2 pm to 5 PM

All candidates of Mains examination are required to score  minimum cutoff  marks in the compulsory question paper of General Hindi, as may specified  by UPPSC. There will be 2 parts  in all the question papers of all Optional subjects and each section will include Four questions. Candidates are required to  answer only Five questions while they must select minimum, Two question from each section.

Note: A candidate will not be allowed to offer more than one subject from the –
Group A : 1. Social Work  2. Anthropology 3. Sociology
Group B  : 1.Mathematics, 2.Statistics,
Group C : 1. Agriculture, 2. Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
Group D : 1. Civil Engineering, 2. Mechanical Engineering, 3. Electrical Engineering, 4. Agriculture Engineering
Group E: 1. English Literature 2. Hindi Literature, 3. Urdu Literature, 4. Arabic Literature, 5. Persian Literature, 6. Sanskrit Literature
Group F : 1. Political Science and International Relations, 2. Public Administration, 
Group G : 1. Management 2. Public Administration
