West Bengal staff selection Commission WBSSC recently published the advertisement No 02/WBSSC /2013 for the recruitment of assistant Sub inspector of Excise. Notification
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination followed by physical measurement Test and Interview test which will be conducted by WB SSC.
Written Exam for WB ASI Excise pattern Syllabus    
West Bengal staff selection commission will conduct a common written examination for the posts if ASI excise on state level. Written exam date have been announced by WBSSC. Tentatively ASI exam will be held on 6 April 2014 at various examination centers. Details question paper pattern, WB ASI syllabus for the written exam will be published by WB SSC officially. Official syllabus for ASI written exam will be published on 31 January 2014 at the wbssc website. WB SSC ASI Excise Admit Card | call letter and Hall Ticket
West Bengal staff selection commission will issued admit card online. all those candidates who applied for WB SSC ASI posts they can download there admit card from the official website of wb ssc which is www.wbssc.gov.in
Official admit card will be hosted online form 19 march 2014. so all candidates who filled application form they can download there ASI Admit card from 19 march 2014 for ASI exam 6 April 2014.

Results will be announced of written exam in the month of May 2014. After that a physical measurement test will be held in the month of June 2014.

Minimum Physical measurement Test details
Height 167 cm, Chest 78/83 for
except Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes
Height 160 cm, chest 76/81 for
Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes
The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, squint eye.
The minimum vision should be 6/6 with or without glasses.
They should possess high colour vision and should not be colour blind.
The candidates should be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical deformity likely to interfere with efficient performance of their duties.
was published for the recruitment of 246 posts of AIS Excise. After the selection procedure these ASI will b appointed in pay band 3 , pay scale 7100 – 37600 and grade pay rs 3200 .
