Navodaya Written Exam Syllabus and Question Paper pattern for TGT PGT recruitment 2014 Dates

Recently navodaya Vidyalaya Samit NVS published official notification for the recruitment of posts Graduate Teachers PGT and Trained Graduate Teacher TGT for various subjects. There are 514 posts for PGT Teacher for Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Maths, Physics subjects and 423 posts for TGT teachers for English, Hindi, Maths, Science,  and Social Studies subjects . Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya JNV are co-educational, fully housing schools up to Senior Secondary level and are situated mostly in rural areas
Selection procedure: Selection for the posts of TGT Teacher and PGT teacher will be based on their performance in the written examination filled by and interview test. More then 5 lakh candidates will participate in this examination all candidates who want to apply for KVS vacancies are advised to work hard for the qualifying the written exam in 1st attempt . Written exam dates yet not announced but very soon Mexam.IN will update the exact exam date of NVS Navodaya vidyalaya written exam dates here. Written exam will be held in 32 examination centers.

Question Paper pattern for Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam / Syllabus for NVS TGT PGT
There will be only one question paper in this examination for Both PGT and TGT teacher. This General Paper will carry 200 marks and total 150 minutes will be given for attempting the question paper. All questions will be objective type of nature. Questions will be related to following subjects
  • General English 20 Marks
  • General Hindi 20 Marks
  • General Awareness 30 Marks
  • General Intelligence, Numerical Ability & Reasoning 30 Marks
  • Teaching Aptitude 20 Marks
  • Concerned subject knowledge 80 Marks

Difficulty of the question will be for PGT teacher will be Post graduate level and difficulty of the question paper for TGT will be graduation level.
Minus marking / negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
