Selection of MP PCS Recruitment 2015 will be based on thorough the preliminary PRE examination, main Examination and interview test. This time MPPSC published the detailed question paper pattern and Syllabus for Pre and Main Examination 2015. Preliminary exam of MPPSC state service will be held on 9 may 2015. Question paper and Syllabus as for MP PCS 2015 as are follows
Plan of the Examination : a state level combined Competitive examination will comprise two successive stages which are 1 : State Service preliminary Examination : which will be objective type for Selection of the eligible candidates for main examination
2: state service main exam will be descriptive type and only qualified candidates in preliminary examination can participate in this examination.
MP State Preliminary Examination will comprise two question papers. Paper 1 will be objective type of nature and all question will contains multiple choices. Total 2 hours time will be given for each paper and each paper will carry 200 marks
Paper I General Studies 2 hrs 200 Marks, 100 question
Paper II General Aptitude Test 2 hrs 200 Marks ,, 100 question
Question paper medium : Hindi / English
Preliminary examination will be qualifying nature and final selection lists / merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by a candidates in main written examination and interview test.
MP PCS main Exam Pattern 2015
Compulsory paper :
Paper I General Studies 3 hrs. 300 Marks
Paper II General Studies 3 hrs. 300 Marks
Paper III General Hindi 3 hrs. 300 Marks
Optional Papers Paper V , Paper VI , Paper VII Paper IV : Any two subjects are to be selected (from the list of optional subjects set ) each subject will have two papers. 3 hrs. 300 Marks for each paper
Interview Test - The interview test will carry 250 marks.

Important Faq about main examination
1 : total 3 hours will be given for each main exam question paper.
2 : all question of main exam will be conventional type.
3 : Question paper medium will be Hindi / English
4 : Question No. 1 of each paper (Consisting 20 short answer questions each one is to be
answered in one or two lines) will be Compulsory. Each question will carry 3 marks,
5 : scaling system will be applicable and following scaling formulae will be used for calculating marks : Formula Scaled marks = M+(x-m)S/s
